It would be a crime by this organization to keep him only playing ST. Kellen Moore needs integrate him as a WR as a deep threat and a slot player.

Plays similar style to Tyreek Hill with ability to create massive separation with speed and quickness. The first TD is exactly like what Hill did to Buffalo Bills and would have busted 49ers defense up in the playoffs if he was on the roster last year.

I believe there is a place for him . I do think he’s an injury waiting to happen if overused

he has hill speed but he’s not quite as thick as hill .

you can never have too many playmakers. If he is used on O I only hope he gets down like hill has learned to do when the situation is right for it

Turpin needs to own the KR/PR position first and maybe he has the chance to be the next Chad Johnson, Steve Smith or Antonio Brown, all were returners and down the WR list to start their careers.

He is also too short to run the route tree and with a 6'2" QB, finding him on some routes could be a challenge.

He is to short is is not valid argument since he can run the full route tree and as the depth of the the route gets deeper the more visible a player is. Height wise Tyreek and him are the same height by the way.

The speed and quickness he has allows him to create immense separation to get to the spot in the route and makes easier throw for the QB.

He just needs more reps at WR to showcase his skill set.

Please stop it. You have a special teams "Ace" that can alter or change games. Keep in mind he has already played a season this year and you want to wear him out?

I get the gist but NO!

Please don't try a squeeze blood out of a TURNIP!

You don’t use a Ferrari only just to drop kids off at school.
He has a another gear that can compliment the running game. He must be utilized in the offense with the running game.

They'll use him like they did Lucky Whitehead and little more.

If his chemistry with Dakota warrants him playing wr, then cool. He needs time to develop that chemistry. This year he needs to be the ace returning kicks just to make this roster.

I think anyone who expects Tyreek hill is just setting themselves up for disappointment. Big time. He can be a poor mans version but he will not have an impact like hill. He needs to be on the field just for the ability to make the defense thunk and stretch them out.
There’s definitely a place for him.

I’d love to see him and pollard out there at the same time just for again strategy and table setting not to mention big play ability

I believe that already have a plan in place to use him on the field. We seen the jet sweep he was used on, and gained 7 yards.
That has been more productive than most anyone else they tried that play with. Except a few plays that got 10 yards.

I never really liked that play as it seemed to be failed from the start. However I am kind of excited to see him in it this year. However if he is out there they may expect that be the play. And will be ready. But it needs to be attempted.

Otherwise maybe some designed slot plays. Or straight out beat your man down the field.
He will not be an every down type player though.

Until they put him on the field to see if he can be a difference maker, all we can do is speculate. This is what drives me crazy about training camps in every professional sport. It is great to get excited with performances like we just saw, but we have to keep things in perspective until games matter.

It is pretty clear they now have to come up with creative ways to use him, so let's see what happens. If he indeed pulls it off, then everybody on the field will benefit...especially our QB and our RB

Hope Brandon Smith catches some more passes makes the roster . Houston and Vasher have had great practices according to there agents on the board but Smith is actually catching passes during the game . Replace Malik Turner roster spot .

He still took big hits in USFL and excelled.
There is a different level of speed and power in nfl I think you know this

maybe 6 snaps a game spread the field run a fly or something maybe done hey sweeps but sending speedy stickman anywhere in middle of field is recipe for injury if done too frequently

Brandon Smith has been nothing but solid, but nobody else on this board seems to know he exists
