He had 420 receiving yards last year so obviously contributed more than just special teams. I would say this is a good re-signing and if we can use him the right way in the slot this will be more than a fair deal.

I know he did but what I was saying is that he was ineffective when the defense couldn’t stop anyone.

That is why it is important for the Cowboys to get good players on defense so Turpin can get the max opportunities to make l plays. Right now, this roster will not be able to stop any top 10 offense.

Good thing we don't have a game tomorrow I mean it's kinda crazy how the offseason works where you're 3 days into official league year more than a month until the draft and then all these camps in preseason games and 5.5 more months before game 1 isn't that ironic it appears our roster can't compete, because it's not complete...

I'm betting 75% of the teams or more right now would say the same things I don't think they can put a team on the field that's ready to win it all even some of the better teams have got giant holes that just came even the eagles I mean they lost two of their corners two of their defensive lineman their top Pro Bowl safety i mean they got holes to fill. Get what you're saying but this becomes old we'd literally just started the process and everybody's worried about 5 months from now let's worry five months when it gets here....

You know when we're playing preseason games gearing up for game one then we can start really having a picture of what this really will look like..

I have always like Turpin & have no issues with him getting paid for his talents \ contributions.

BUT the $'s make no sense to me. Dude had 62 touches last year.

Yet folks argue that a RB\special teamer who had 631 snaps (I believe) for $6M\year is crazy talk.

Not all true, he can play from anywhere, so that's up to the coaches to make sure they can utilize all the weapons. MM struggled with that. guaranteed Vaughn and Turp would have been far more effective with a more creative OC/HC...

but you can have two guys coming from inside one in motion from one side and one leaves from the slot. misdirection and motion need to be here from day 1 game 1 not wait until the seasons in jeopardy to start throwing it all out...
