That 99yd return was incredible!!! That spin move got two guys (39 and 58 I believe) outta the way. That is a career highlight for Turpin. Heckuva returner.

Even Belichick referred to him a week or so ago. Special skills as a return man.

I would love to see Turpin get more offensive touches but we have to remember he's just a shade over 150 pounds. He's not going to survive taking a ton of big hits so he has to be used sparingly.
That's the problem. He's so short and slight, you have to be very creative and strategic in how you get him the ball. You cant just throw him out there and ask him to run basic routes, especially with the lack of personnel currently on this offense. So while im giving a little slack to the coaches for not getting him the ball, I do think a more creative staff would make it more of a priority.

He fumbled the catch and I thought it was a bad play. He hit the lane and was flying. Wonder what speed he got up to. I honestly kept waiting for a flag.

ill say it again all through his football career his TD to touches is crazy, why they dont give him more offensive plays is a crime.

Whoda thought our special teams would be this good?
Aubrey, Turpin and Anger are real men!
If not for that return (and Thomas' on the onside kick), though, yesterday would have been considered a bad one for our special teams. Two missed field goals (one of which was blocked) by Butter and a blocked punt. It wasn't looking pretty.

you have a point about how small he is; but on the other hand all the rule changes mean that they cannot subdivide receivers like they used to.
