You have got to be kidding me. No 2nd game due to NFL rules? What rule? That you will kiss Bill Bidwell's backside?

Edit...Tucson is not affected.

:dance3:

:laugh1: I'm serious....are you messing with me? I didn't know about the stupid rule until last year when the Cleveland Clowns were playing at 4:15 on CBS and we were playing the Giants at the same time on Fox and I was thinking I'd get the game cause 99% of the country was getting it and someone told me that Cleveland wouldn't get the Cowboys-Giants game because when the Browns are playing the other network can't show any game. For instance this year the Browns are playing all 16 games at 1:00 so the other network never has a 1:00 game.

Don't think that's a rule, just a biz decision. And one I only thought came into play when the opposite network didn't have the double header.

If i's not the Fox double header weekend, they won't show the one game they have in a market opposite the home team. They'll go the other time slot to max ratings.

Now if it is a Fox double header weekend they'll show two games and of course one would go heads up against the home team's telecast.
Happens all the time in the eagles market.

I love it when just about the whole nation gets to see a Cowboys game. Hope we put on a good show.

Lots of reasons why we became America's Team. But the #1 reason we stay it is because of exposure.
Year in and year out, week in and week out, the Cowboys gave to be the 2nd most televised team in every market after the home team.

I'd bet dollars to donuts you could count the times each NFL team is televised in each NFL market and the Cowboys would be #2 in every one.

Tucson > Phoenix

UA > ASU

Believe it.

Oh helllllllllllll nooooooo Hostile, just when I was starting to like you. I am a Sun Devil, please don't make me put you outside with the dogs, Mr. Cat :p: :p: :D

Back to this Arizona thing, I swear my hatred for the Cardinals grows every week. So far I've had to watch streams on two games, looks like it'll be three with this one. I need to find someone with sunday ticket so I can watch on my iPad.

Really weird that they would show San Diego and Oakland in LA. They never show those two teams when Dallas is on.

I guess its because those 2 teams are playing each other.

Tennessee must be a weight dragging the games estimated viewership out here down.

Oh well.

Its cause the cowboys game is on cbs which is home network to both raiders and chargers in LA area.

I hope it gets blacked out, im praying.

Anyone know when blackouts will be announced? Thursday i believe?

Yeah who knows....last week was a Fox doubleheader and there wasn't a 1:00 Fox game when the Browns were on CBS. Also if you look at the map it says "Areas in GREY have no games due to NFL rules."

With a perfect weekend Dallas could be looking at sitting in 1st place after the games are over this sunday by half a game.

Has absoultley nothing to do with the Titans. LA is a secondary market for the Chargers and it's mandatory they have to air every San Diego road game. Frankly that's the game they should show in LA anyway.

All Cowboys fans should move the hell out of AZ. They never get Cowboys games.

Cowboys are primary market everywhere except AZ it seems. :laugh2:

I live in Boston and the weather lately has been downright awful. Should be beautiful by weekend though.

why? because of proximity? there are virtually no charger fans here. out of the california teams, the chargers have the least fan following in LA despite being the closest. still a lot of raider fans from the LA coliseum days and the rest follow the niners if they want a "home" team.

Good for my Dad - he's traveling to Seattle this weekend and was freaking out about missing the game.
