Charles Tapper - sore hip
Brice Butler - injured foot
Marquez White - injured hamstring

can't post the links, cuz DMN

DE Charles Tapper on his hip injury: "They say it's like a muscle spasm. It's super frustrating. It's like you keep taking other steps back.

Everything is relative. He is fast and agile for 285.

Yeah. He outweighs even the bigger receiving TEs by 25 lbs. I think he moves fairly well for essentially a man the size of an OT. IMO he's not going to be a primary threat as a receiver. He's a guy that hopefully can continue to develop as a blocker, use his size, athleticism and hands to create favorable matchups at times in the passing game.

Bring back Camp Cupcake, at least for the defensive ends.

Does Tapper ever NOT have some sort of injury?

Apparently the dude is going all out in practice. He's over doing it. At least it's not his back. With his speed around the corner and Collins strength up the middle this could be the perfect combo

Collins and Paea based on reports from camp may make a real nice DT combo.

This has been my preferred DT starters from the day they signed Paea. He is a textbook 1 Gap/Penetrating NT. That's why he was so much better in Chicago vs. his other stops as a 2-Gap DE - he doesn't have the proper length to fight OT's.

I'm wondering if they have a true 1T who can hold up consistently against the run. Terrell McClain might be missed.

But Paea sounds like he can rush.
