He a Cowboy for life already, he will even tell you that. He just wants the contract he feels he deserves and actions like this probably work out well for him in the eyes of the Joneses.

Dez is a team guy. There is no doubt about that. He's the leader of that WR corp in a very Irvin-like way (read: not your typical leader).

He deserves a huge deal. Everyone knows this.

7 years $95 million with $50 million guaranteed via various bonuses.

What say you? Yay or nay?

The 50 mill is probably correct - guaranteed over the first three years. The size of the deal, not so much as if you project 50 over 3 years that's roughly 17 mill a year.

But really, you make some of the 4-7 years larger money and you'll have 17 a year. Plus, that'll be three years down the line and those #s are gonna look much smaller at that point - plus they aren't guaranteed so who cares?

Elite players deserve elite deals. It is gonna be a massive deal - just get used to it

As long as there are behavior clauses tied to it, I'm OK with $40+ guaranteed.

The Jones's know Dez can't stay away from the Cowboys. He loves the game too much. They know he's most likely bluffing when he says he might sit out games.

Now Everyone that was writing him off in the other thread, will try and pretend they never said any of that, and that they are still fans of his.
