Twitter Info During The Draft

I'm sure some of you checked Twitter frequently during the draft as I did. Between Bryan Broaddus and Mike Fisher, I knew just about every player the Cowboys were targeting well in advance of their selection. Did this concern anyone else? Mike Fisher was even making $1 bets as to who the Cowboys would take with their next selection. It was clear that he had bigtime inside info and made it public during the draft. I know that teams have a good idea of what players other teams like, but this was very specific and accurate. It just seemed like other teams could potentially be tipped off and jump ahead of us to take the player that we are basically publicly announcing that we want. Of course Dallas could do this too if another team has a guy like this in the media. Whenever I would read about the Cowboys' interest in a player from Fisher, I would text a fellow Cowboys fan friend of mine. He kept saying "I can't believe they are telling everyone on the internet!" Anyone else feel that this is a legit concern?

If teams are drafting players because another team is going to draft him, then thats just silly. Teams are focused on there own draft board, if they like a player they will take them, they aren't checking twitter to see if the cowboys want to draft a player then go OH! we must draft him so the cowboys dont!

I hate broaddus. He comes out with things sometimes that aren't even close to accurate.

There are several NFL writers and media personnel that had access to the pick knowledge beforehand and were posting it on Twitter.

That might only matter if teams have interest in the player Dallas might draft and they don't slot them as 3 rounds lower. Dallas could have purchased a billboard advertising their first round pick. All that would have happened is the teams drafting next breaking into applause because they know the player they want will fall down to them.
