I'm a little surprised by this. From his PC it sounded like he wanted to maintain the same approach he had in GB.

Exactly what I thought!

The only immediate positive I take from this is that now we can definitively determine the quality of Kellen’s play calling. We never really knew who was making calls under JG. But a full season of nothing but one man, KM, calling plays will help us determine what to do moving forward.

Maybe some of that Redzone stagnation was Coach Clapper forcing his hand...

We shall see...

This is truly going to be an interesting upcoming season.

MM...because he has told us all along he wants to adapt better to his players. Its that simple. I trust the guy.

We should all probably realize that this is how MM got the job.

Jerry got to retain his next Garrett and one of "his guys" so once MM gets this turned around he can run him out of town and take more credit.

At least its not the other way around where MM would have to relinquish PC duties per Jerry and cause more dysfunction....either Moore does well, or he gets that pulled from him. Its win win this way. Recipe for disaster other way around

No issue with this. McCarthy will be on the headsets and actively involved in the game planning and I’m sure the play calling. Even if Moore calls the plays, all calls will go through McCarthy.

MM has a plan. He is doing what he told us he wants to do. BE A BETTER HC BY ADJUSTING TO HIS PLAYERS. He is simply molding his scheme around the players and what they do best. He is not pulling the switcharoo.
