Twitter question

I wonder what she wanted with me. I'm old enough to be her father or GF. I guess that doesn't matter as long as I have the $.

That's just it. You never would've met her. Since "she" was claiming to be a celebrity, "she" probably wouldn't have tried to play the hardship card, where "she" needed you to send "her" money because "she" was in a bad situation. (Okay, I'm gonna stop with the quotations. Just know that I find it probable that this wasn't even a woman.) She may have tried to get you to buy autographed memorabilia that you'd never receive, or something like that. Or she might have just been catfishing you. I don't understand why, but some people just like to play with people's heads.

How can I tell if the person I'm talking to on Twitter is legit? That they are who they say they are?
Don't talk to people on twitter for anything but entertainment purposes. Don't consider anyone online to be real.
