Jalen/Carson

Unless a trade down
Then I take Ezekiel /Carson along with the extra draft pick for moving down.

I'm quite confident that we are going to pick in the 4-6 range in the draft. If Lynch and Goff are both gone by then, which is very possible, then I'm all for a trade down and getting an extra second rounder. Elliott should still be there in the middle of the first so we still have a shot at him if we trade down and could get another shot at a top 50 prospect in the 2nd.

my thinking exactly - with all we need who knows what we are looking for

If they feel like Goff or Lynch are going to bonafide stars, but they don't think they'll quite be there when we pick, then I would hope that we'd trade up... If they feel like Wentz is the best of the bunch, and that they can get him in the 2nd, then I would prefer a DT/DE over a RB with our first pick, assuming there's one worth taking there...

If Lynch and Goff go as high as some of you seem to think, Bosa might be there. Can you pass on a talent like that?

Bosa and best DB on the board in the second and I would be a happy camper.

ok

so what if we trade down a little

get a extra 2 or3 and pick up a OT or WR we need Free an Street's replacements

a RB to help with Turbin who I think is much better than McFadden

I would hate taking yet another oline in the first. It appears that our 3 first rds are struggling a bit now. We need to look for the future at QB and look for a RB and another WR.

come combine time, if Lynch is as highly touted as I think he'll be, and the clear #1.....Jerry wont be talked out of it this time, he'll get his guy no matter what.

I think Goff is gonna fall off a bit....

As it stands right now, I would say our draft is highly dependent on what happens between Cleveland and Manziel. If Cleveland wants to keep Manziel, then they likely go for another position. In which case we end up with Goff or Lynch. If they don't, they'll take Lynch or Goff. Then SF takes the other. in which case Dallas will probably trade for Manziel. And we'll take something else.

If we trade for Manziel before the draft, or if he is cut and we pick him up, then we take another position. Then we use our compensatories to move back into the first round.

We went 0-7 without Romo, so until Cassel or Moore proves otherwise, Im assuming we finish 3-13.......we'll probably have the 1st pick if that happens......maybe Cleveland and/or Tennessee end up 2-14, but obviously the Titans wont take a QB......and if we have a top 5, and Jerry falls in love with Goff or Lynch, he's gonna get his guy.....

Any team that trades for Manziel is dumb as hell......Browns are gonna release him....

If you can get Vernon Hargreaves III in the first round, you grab him. Doesn't matter how Claiborne panned out, the guy is a great talent. It seems with how our team is right now, we'll be in perfect position to draft him.

Dallas will be in an enviable position for sure. I think they at least end up top 5. If Lynch and Goff go, Dallas could have their choice of Bosa, Nkemdiche, Ramsey or Hargreaves. I honestly would be torn on who to take out of the bunch. Bosa or Ramsey probably.

What's fun, and the only bright spot about this season, is we can now talk about players of a caliber we didn't think we had any shot at, like Nkemdiche and Bosa. It should be a very fun draft.
