Two Guards/C taken before 18..

In the last 20 years, there has NEVER been two Guards/C taken before pick 18. I do not see that changing this year. Warmack will be there at 18 because I think Coopers ability to play C will be more valuable to teams.

Top Safeties in that particular year go quick so Vacarro will more than likely be gone. I can 100% see the Cowboys trading out of this pick if there is ANY suitor.

It'll be interesting to see the reactions if they take Fluker over Warmack. I mean, if they don't really value guards as mid first rounders, and believe they have a bigger need at tackle (maybe after signing another vet guard).

That is NOT something I wish for. But can it be ruled out?

The problem with this year is, you don't have enough talent at QB, WR, DE, etc. Positions that would normally push a guard down. I hope you guys are right though.

If Warmack or Cooper are there like you say, why would we trade OUT of the pick?
The 2-3 of the next four teams all want interior line help so that player would immediatley be taken.
Unless you are saying we don't want either player?

That is true... at the moment. Like every year though QB's will go earlier than expected. Barkley will find his way into rnd 1 I believe. WR I could see Austin and Patterson going before 18.

Yes they do...until it is different.

Jerry never drafted an Olineman in the first round...Until he did.

A kicker was not drafted in the first round in forever...until Oakland did.

Just because it has not happened or has not happened in a long time, does not mean it will not happen.

Eh, this thread is a tad bit misleading considering Iupati and Pouncy were selected 17 and 18 in 2010.

In the last several years, that's the only time I can recall two OG/C being rated as highly as the two this year. Neither of those were being projected in the top 8-10 like some have Cooper and/or Warmack this year.
Still, it is true that Guards tend to drop.

I hope both Warmack.Cooper are off the board at #18. That gives a better shot at one of the top defensive lineman to slide to us.Would be nice if at least one QB and Vaccaro is taken before #18 also.
