I agree, time for Whitehead to be thrown in there. Being at 2-2 and the D getting gassed, though we will be get 2 players back. But can't rely on those 2 players to turn things around.
ST's have not been bad, but have not been great.
This is one of those games you throw everything you got at them even it it's trying a few new things.
So why not let Lucky give it a go at PR & KR. Can't hurt at this point.

But he might get yards on a PR and that would make the field shorter for Weeds and company! Why would we want to chance that?? ;)

I think Lucky can make an impact on returns. I love Beasely but he is not much of a return guy. Lucky showed good ability in pre season with 30.7 yards on kick returns and 12.5 on punt returns with 3 over 20 yards. He did have 1 fumble but hell so did Harris when he was taking care of the returns.

Cheater Bill will be prepared, if there is one positive thing I can say about him it is he will always be prepared and never caught off guard.

He sure was ready for the wildcat in '08.

Gregory hasn't been ruled out yet :) Maybe JG is holding it as an ace up his sleeve. I was thinking Lucky could also be used on WR screen or even line up in the backfield from a slot shift, like we did with Dunbar when we go 4 or 5 wide. Maybe get a LB on him in coverage coming out for a swing or wheel route. Just something different to at least try to catch them off-guard.

Randy Gregory and Lucky Whitehead.

Two guys Belicheat is not game planning for. Lucky is our most explosive offensive threat and to date hasn't been used. While Williams will be drawing double teams, Lucky will be in single coverage and will take a couple of short passes the distance. Shock the world.

Randy Gregory is young and a fast healer. With so much talk about Hardy and Ro's return Belicheat has been game planning for them the last two weeks. Gregory's return will catch them off guard and he will get to lady Brady, making her see stars, pun intended.

When planning a battle, which this game is, surprise is a huge weapon, well we have two surprises up our sleeves that the reigning kings aren't prepared for.

It's the punch you don't see, that knocks you out!

Gregory a fast healer? He's missed the last 3 games and won't be back until after the bye. You're counting on one player who won't be playing and another who hasn't played all season.

Hence the term "Surprise".

I'm sorry but if you double team Williams then you deserve to be fired, and i believe Gregory is back after the bye. Hardy & Ro will be the game changers if we beat the Cheatriots.

Lucky Whitehead is not an NFL name. Therefore you are wrong at least about Whitehead.

Gregory is a scratch for this game. If you are pinning your hopes to win this game on Whitehead then we need not even show up for the game. I believe we have a punchers chance to win but it will be with our guys (Witten, Beasley, T Will) making plays. Our defense will keep us in the game but our offense outscoring the Pats will be a challenge.

lol at this. I cant blame you for our optimism but Gregory isn't even going to be playing in the game and Whitehead is a player who hasn't done jack squat yet. We are playing the #1 team in the NFL, they are about to come in here and kill us and there is nothing we can do about it. You think JG might think outside of the box for the first time in his coaching career to give us any kind of chance? Nope. Will just keep doing the same things he has done the last 2 games. Plain vanilla play calling all the way to a loss.

Maybe we can get Dan Snyder to send him some ice cream

You claimed Whitehead is the Cowboys most explosive offensive player if so why hasn't he been used? He might be now with all the players the Cowboys have out but he's not going to make much if any difference vs NE. Belichick prepares for everything he knows how limited the Cowboys are and will be ready for whatever they do.

If Gregory didn't practice today, then he likely won't play.

This is how disappointment happens.

Hype a guy up. He does not produce. He's a bust.

I whole heartily support the premise just disagree on the makeup of the details.
