1) Next to last drive in regulation, instead of just running the ball on 2nd down, trying to get a couple of first downs and a kick, we play a stupid slow developing double fake that gets Dak sacked deep.

2) In OT, 3rd and a yard and a half, and we put Beasley as the deep tailback, bringing his defender into the box, then run right straight into the box. From the comments of Collingsworth, I get the impression that it was even Houston's slot corner, who we just forced into the box following Beasley, who tackled Zeke.

Lack of confidence in your QB does that to you, Dak sucks at every significant way as a QB. Doesn't have pass protection, can't throw deep with consistency, lacks accuracy, can't adjust against the blitz, holds on to the ball too long, etc.

Dak trying to run for 25 yards was dumb too (3rd and 17, drops back 8 yards, the quickly takes off as a runner)

We waste timeouts on the stupidest crap then on 3rd and 1 in OT with two timeouts we call a running play that has Beasley in the backfield of all things. Call TO there for Christ’s sake.

It wasn't great. Dak is just too conservative with the ball. If it's 3rd and 17, wing it deep and see what happens. Maybe you get a penalty. Maybe a big play. Maybe an INT, which will pass for a punt.

The run made no strategic sense. Playing for field position?

Of course, that 3rd down would have been the time to have coaches give their young QB guidance on the strategic situation.
