LB Aaron Maybin by the Bills and OT Jon Stinchcomb by the Saints.

Maybin's a former first-round pick that Buffalo's giving up on after two seasons. Stinchcomb's a former Pro Bowl (2009) tackle who's battling injuries.

I'm not saying Dallas should jump in line to get them, just that I'm intrigued by them.

I actually think Maybin should move to ILB or SS. He weighed only 228 at hsi weigh in.

Maybe. I think he could be one of those players lost in transition who goes on to find his best fit with another team. The Bills gave up on him awful fast, but they could have good reason for it.

you want a former DE/OLB in college and 3-4 OLB to play SS? Do you know that a SS has to be able to cover? Not anyone can play SS. Then you want a 228 pound player to play 3-4 ILB.

Maybin is just a bust, 24 total tackles in 2 years. He is just another workout warrior that looks great in shorts at the combine and gets great combine numbers that shoots him up the board. He can't play football. Bobby Carpenter was a better player.

Will Jon Stinchcomb play swing tackle? If no then pass.

why would we want a OT that was released by a team that kept Barron over the said OT.

No, I said I think he should. Want has nothing to do with it. I never said I want him.

So, what you are saying is Dallas should jump in line to get them, just that they should be at the back of the line? :D

Then why should he. I don't understand. Why do you think a guy that was just a pass rusher in college and a draft bust and never played safety and can't cover should move to SS? Just because he weights 228?I guess we should get a 350 pound guy ff the street to play NT for us.

Thats like saying we kept Holley over Roy Williams.

I'm intrigued by Maybin too.

Admittedly though, I haven't seen many Buffalo games, so I'm not sure just how bad he is.

I figure a team like the Colts would give him a shot on that carpet of theirs.

Folks like talkin' about Vernon Gholston, Maybin might be just as big a disappointment.

So who's going to be the 2011 LB bust?
I'm picking Kerrigan

Seems like every year a LB is drafted early that turns into a bust.
2010 is early but I'm saying Brandon Graham.
2009 Aaron Maybin
2008 Vernon Gholston
2007 no LB bust but was a few Dline bust
2006 Ernie Sims

no its really not, we didn't go out and sign Holley and then cut Williams. We had them both on this team last year.

Does every tongue in cheek comment go over your head or just mine in this thread? I was bagging on the guy for his weight, not promoting him as a solution here.

Don't know if they should even be in line.

I haven't watched Maybin play and I don't know the extent of Stinchcomb's injury or how much of a toll being injured has taken.

Stinchcomb might just need more time before he's ready to play for anyone, or he might be spent.
