1 - Dirk has gotta step it up. If he's the MVP, THE MAN, the #1 option, then he needs to play like it.

2 - Avery needs to play OUR line-up, with OUR style of basketball. If we try to out-run and our-gun the Warriors, we're done.

(and a bonus key)

3 - The crowd has to really be into it. If they come out dead early on, then you call this series over.

if this keeps up, game 6 ought to be MIIIIIIGHTY interesting.

i won't be the least bit surprised if dallas wins this series. they gotta shed that "deer in headlights" look in oakland, though.

Well, Dirk stepped up.

Crowd sucked!

And the 6th man on the floor, really helped the Mavs. They can thank the refs for this one. Dirk fouling Richardson on his 3, then going over the back on Barnes on the missed freethrow.

Self destruct? To a point. But it does not help when your down 1 and go for a 3 point shot and Dirk hits the shooter straight on the arm and there is no call. Then they call the best player on the floor for a phantom call, that gets him his 6th foul. And there is the no call on Dirk bumping and going thru Barnes on the missed free throw. Should of at least been Warriors ball out of bounds, if there was no fould called on that play.

Do you really wanna play this game? I don't think you do.

The easy one is Baron's 6th. The Mavs were up with the ball, GS had to foul. There was no other Warrior close to Baron... if he hadn't fouled him, at least 5 more seconds would have run off. Davis and Jackson getting tossed were non-factors in the outcome.

Play what game? If your gonna answers the questions, why don't you answer all of them and look at the replays while your at it. Don't just selectively choose the one you think you know.

I guess I'm going to have to take two out of three. The AAC went cold in the 4th when the Warriors came back from 21 points down and then went up by 9. The fans expect Dallas to beat this team, and get too easily discouraged when they always come back. GET OVER IT!

It's game five, and Dirk finally showed up. Better late than never, but WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Dallas is back in the series, but game six is going to be very tough with their crowd. They are still letting GS get way too many wide open looks from behind the arch, while GS is contesting every Dallas shot. They need to play good defense and push the ball to the hole like they did at the beginning of the game and finally again in the last two minutes. They cannot afford to get down by 20 in Oakland or it will be over.

But if the Mavs play like they did tonight - good defense, hustling for rebounds, going to the basket, forcing fouls - then they will be back for the deciding game seven.

I have yet to complain about the refs in this series... And I don't want to get into that game, because calls go both ways.

But the calls or no-calls you're referring to were correct calls all of them. I saw replays this morning. JRichardson absolutely flopped after he let go of the 3 ball. And there was no contact between Dirk and Barnes in the air. Dirk tipped the ball, and it went off Barnes. Even Barnes didn't call for a foul, and you know if there's any chance for him to whine, he's going to do it.
