Fish has been talking about trading down from 17 then using the draft capital gained from that move down to parlay with 51 and get back into the first round. The trade chart works perfectly for this scenario.

17 down to 27 And Pick up 64..

64+51 gets you 28

Now you have 27 and 28

Who are you selecting with these two picks?

Give me Diggs and Aiyuk or Diggs and Delpit

Diggs and delpit.

That's probably the best thing the team can do...if they can.

In several mock scenarios I've looked at, there was serious run on corners late one into early two, and it was a reach on DL or WR around 51.

As far as who to take, its impossible to as much as guess who will and wont be there. Wouldnt shock me if guys like Aiuyk and Fulton are gone before 17.

But at any rate pure math tells you there will be a nice corner and a nice WR there at 27 and 28, even a Blacklock type DL. Maybe theres truth to the Ruiz thing.

The scenario works for sure, and I'm glad it finally looks like this team has figured out the smokescreen thing!

If this was the Cowboys plan, I would think Ruiz and a CB

The value this year is Rds 2-4
If I trade down in rd 1 I’m taking BPA but not trading up again
I’ll take 1 player in Rd 1 and 4 players in rds 2-4 this year over 2 players in rd 1 and nothing till Rd 4/5

I like the idea, however I think there is value with that 64th pick. We can get 3 players instead of 2. All which can contribute right away, as well all be future starters.

You still have a 3 and 4 in this scenario

If they are targeting a corner, it seems theres a sweet spot right in that end of Thursday/early Friday range.

After the top two, it seems the next 5-6 corners are interchangeable.

You wouldn't not get one at 27/28, and it seems more justifiable in that range. Plus you've got a 5th year option on both in that case.

I think I won't be able to take a trade up to take a C.
I can take it much better than I could take years of center play on the level of Phil Costa. People forgets just how bad things were before drafting Frederick.

If you can get a couple of trade partners to do this, (I doubt it) I'd take any of these 2:

McKinney, Delpit, Espenesa, Diggs, Blacklock, Terrell, Gladney, Jefferson, Aiyuk, Mims,
