(5:00 PM): 'Canes junior WR Parrish to enter draft... Miami junior WR Roscoe Parrish has announced that he will be entering the 2005 NFL draft. Parrish is a little undersized at just 5-9, 175, but is very quick. Parrish led the Hurricanes with 43 receptions this past fall; he's also a dangerous punt returner having averaged over 16 yards per return this fall, including two for scores.
(2:00 PM): Top soph CB off to draft... Oregon State sophomore CB Brandon Browner has reportedly opted to leave school with two years of eligibility remaining and enter the 2005 draft. With speed and agility, the 6-4, 202-pound Browner, is an outstanding physical prospect, who had a terrific freshman season in 2003 when he intercepted 6 passes, although his numbers were off somewhat this year. With the entry of Browner into the 2005 field, along junior CBs Adam Jones of West Virginia, Justin Miller of Clemson and Fabian Washington of Nebraska, an already strong CB field could be one of the real strengths at this year's draft.

I've been reading a lot about Browner recently. Big kid with good quickness, and I do mean BIG. Take that T.O.

The CB position is getting interesting. The Cowboys may have to take one home the first day.

Parrish makes little sense to me. He's not going to go very high because of his size. He either has some pressing financial worries or he's not going to continue making the grades.

Might be worth a look as a returner, but I don't think he'll be worth a pick on the first day for Dallas.

The other kid looks like a good safety in the making.

Yow. Didn't see Browner coming out. Didn't even know he was eligible. Aric Williams had a pretty good year opposite Browner. Extremely strong year for corners.

Wonder if he's related to Joey Browner.

May push down a serious CB to us in 2
