To Break A Tie Within A Division

Two Clubs

1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

Currently, Philadelphia's loss to the Falcons leaves the Eagles at 1-1 in the NFC. Another early tiebreaking leg up on the other projected NFC East title contender.

I dislike tiebreakers. It is comforting when your favorite team takes care of their own business and slowly but surely remove uncertainty from the postseason equation.

The Eagles games are all I care about. It's starting to remind me of the Cowboys/Commanders fight for the division back in the 80s. Hopefully we'll do better against the Eagles. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Too early in the season to predict that.
