I believe that pressure can get to a "young" players head and make you play cautious.

With the the opening of the Death Star and the Monday Night game, I cannot think of a more pressure filled atmosphere for the team than the stretch of games that just finished.

The Cowboys "run oriented" offense is much better suited for bad weather games (as in December) than the Big Play offense that the Cowboys used for the last two or three years.

Therefore I predict that:

1.- The defense will play loose and will get better and thighter.

2.- The Cowboys will have a much better record in December in the event that they stay with a "run oriented" offense.

We'll just have to wait and see if this team is still motivated come December or if they are tired of all that surrounds this team by then and just want to go fishing.

We should've been over all these silly humps along time ago so you never know what to predict with these players.

Our team is awesome though when playing mistakes free football.

I'm with ya on both points. Also liked how you added "The Death Star" in your post. That name hopefully sticks around when talking about Cowboys Stadium. And if our defense keeps getting better week in and week out along with the offense gaining confidence with each game, "The Death Star" will really stick.

Personally I don't like Death Star attached to the stadium. It should be nicknamed Landry Stadium IMO is not called that outright. Jerry probably hopes its called Jones Stadium. I'd just call it Cowboys Stadium if its not called Landry Stadiium. Off rant.

I think the defense is going to be limited by the young CBs and Hamlin. Until the young CBs grow into the position then you'll see some inconsistency. Been saying it and it's a nobrainer AFAI concerned.
