You speak the truth. You summed up this season as well as Ive seen anyone. From my vantage point the only thing different between these Cowboys and the same old is style points. The teams they've beaten aren't any different. How they've beaten them is in most cases.
We always beat bad teams(most of our schedule). We always beat middle of the road to good teams at home(Rams, Seahawks). We always beat the Eagles (haven't swept Dallas since 2011).
They have looked better doing it this year. I won't question that. That may be enough for you to believe this team is different. It's not for me.
But here's what is. @ Buffalo and @ Miami.
Two legitimate playoff contenders who can advance in the postseason. Both on the road. Both fighting for playoff positioning with the Bills really fighting for their playoff lives. In the elements. In December.
The same old Cowboys fumble the ball here. Now is when you can truly change the narrative.
They had a previous opportunity at a narrative changing win against San Francisco this year and they flopped miserably.
Cowboys! ?
They have to show me before I'll believe.
same as when Garrett was coach, no good on road and no urgency. worried about the defense, can get killed by large O line, D built on speed. Didnt like a recycled McCarthy hire when it happened. and still a leader in penalties just like with Garrett. could be 1 and done, no discipline, comes from coaching. You speak the truth. You summed up this season as well as Ive seen anyone.
I actually think they will beat the Dolphins or at least it should be a competitive game, unlike yesterday or the Niners game. The Dolphins are the Cowboys of the AFC this year - they blow out weak teams and rack up wins and gaudy offensive numbers, but get their butts kicked by good teams. They also got embarrassed by the Bills this year too.
The Cowboys will be the #5 seed, get to play the first playoff game at home against whomever wins that awful NFC South Division. They will blow them out like they did Tampa last year. Then they will have to go on the road and play a good team in Round 2 - and lose. End of Season. Sound familiar, lol.
Don't need a crystal ball to see how this season ends. We've seen this movie before, lol
This organization doesn't have the heart or guts to change their current narrative, and that this is a very bad football team that's heading in the wrong direction at the wrong time of the year. One and done at best..................From my vantage point the only thing different between these Cowboys and the same old is style points. The teams they've beaten aren't any different.
