If Jerry sticks to his word and doesn't fire the coaching staff then he better give Ty Law a call to add help to the CB's with the Cowboys have two rookies playing after Adam Jones screwed the Cowboys by being selfish and the injury to Newman.

Anybody want Ty Law? I do! IMO.

This team's problems run deeper than a healthy body at corner.

Law's not going to provide leadership, and emotional edge or just some general "fight" to the defense. We're missing all those things.

I think he would provide a little something.

I thought Zach Thomas would have brought leadership and heart to this defense but he hasn't done it. I wish we had ray lewis on our team.

if he gives up a pass completion will you call for him to be cut?

To me it seems that you think the way to run a team is to cut and sign players every week.

i thought maybe the pass defense would fold. but bulger didnt move the ball much with the pass. they had 1 deep pass and thats it. the rams won the game with the run and special teams.

the pass defense played pretty good.

He isn't going to hurt this team or make the team play any worse than it has the last few weeks either. What's the worse that can happen? He gets beat deep for a TD? Well we already have guys doing that so I really cannot see a downfall here. And this is coming from someone that cannot stand Law. Maybe its just my lack of confidence in this team but it isn't going to make a difference if he is here or not so we might as well get him and hope something good happens.

ty law is in miami now, at least thats what someone told me, and miami is suppose to talk contract with him this week

i understand everyone is saying he is washed up, but cant you bring him in before parcells signs him, look at him, say let him run a go route defending T O or roy williams, then you would know if he is washed up or not.

to me, he has always provided leadership on the teams he has been with, and last one, he was intercepting passes even with kansas city;

so why not give him a look, our rookies are having a problem now, and my problem with our secondary and our coaching staff is this;

the rams doubled T O and basically shut him down, with some rookies defensive backs too, and so did the packers in their game that they killed the team they were playing;

but our defensive backs keeps getting burned and turned around,

while we cant see to get any other wr open like the rams were

proabably doesnt help when campo had to spend time on special teams, because the special teams coach couldnt do his job,

that stinks too;

its just poor coaching on this team and leadership, by leadership i mean not just the players but the coaches directing the players and getting them in position to make plays, its just not happening, and to me never will with wade phillips good ole boy softee

I want his leadership and work ethic. Our secondary and defense needs Ty Law. But JJ views him as a BP guy.

Sign the guy to prorated vet min contract with incentives.

lol - that's a funny. Lets move on this tonight Jerry. Roy #31 out for year also an issue - Henry/Law can play FS also in pinch to support Hamlin.

Maybe the reality of today's game and the losses in our secondary will FINALLY wake some people up - including Jerry.

Contrary to what many may think, our season is NOT over. But some things definitely have to change in the coaching ranks and on the field. And it begins with the owner keeping his post-game tirades to himself!:mad:
