Ty Law trade update

Made some calls and have been silently observing Pats camp of late here locally.

1) Asante Samuel is pushing real hard to be a starter.

2) Rookie Safety Reid is moving up in Pats coaches eyes. He may be ready to play Opening day. That makes Eugene Wilson moveable.

3) Troy Browns day as a Pat may be numbered. Young bucks and injury concerns may make him a suprise cut. LOADS of WR prospects on this team. Patten flat out has earned a starting spot and Givens, Johnson, Deion Branch add youthfull depth. Troys move to nickel DB is a ?.

4) PK Samm and Chas Gessner - Chas may have a future in this league.

Look for WR trade pre last cut. Serious consternation over Laws cap #. Asking price still a #1. Poker faces on. I'd float a 2 and book it - & pay Law the booty.

Frank Tadych, of Patriots.com, reports New England Patriots CB Ty Law (undisclosed) returned to practice Thursday, Aug. 19, after missing two days of workouts for an undisclosed reason.
