Someone may want him at about the time we pick with our second number 1 selection. Maybe slide a few picks and pick up the missing number 2 selection. We gotta have more picks to fix this defense.

With all the quarterback needy teams Simpson will probably go in the top 10.

McVay might be interested and one of his best chances to have a successful career particularly if Stafford plays another year. I forsee combine hype in this case.

Not that he's an option for us, but I waffle on this kid. At times, I come away impressed and at other times, he just looks so pedestrian.

Granted, having zero run game at Alabama certainly didnt make it easy on him.

He is not near Jackson Dart in talent imo. I think late 1st at most.

Watching a few Alabama games this year, this guy looks nothing like a 1st round prospect to me. Which means he'll probably go top 10.

I doubt the Cardinals or Browns take him at 3 or 6 but the Dolphins might just pull the trigger at 11. That would be ideal. It would push another player down the board to Dallas.

Even if he doesn't go top 11 he pushes someone down to 20ish for the GB pick or could be an enticing option for a team at the top of 2 to move back up and provide us with more picks.

He checks the physical boxes to an extent but at only 6'2" 210 he is not that big. Actually kind of small. so some dumb team will take him before he should go which hopefully helps us. Either pushes someone down to us or someone wants to trade up to get him

This is a poor year for QBs so he might be thinking of it that way

Ty Simpson with a stable Offensive line is outstanding. With a clean pocket, Simpson can spin it with the best of them but Ty Simpson with a shaky offensive line see ghosts and get happy feet. Very frustrating as a Bama fan but this is a 1st year full time starter under center and definitely have the potential for something special in the right situation.

The hit rate of 1 year starters is horrific but hopefully a team is dumb enough to take him in front if one if our picks.
