Cowboys building the OL of the future. Guyton, Beebe, Thomas plus Richards, Ball, Bass, Hoffman. All young bucks who look like they can play in this league.extremely impressed so far
And, when you realize Tyler Smith and Cooper Beebe are only a month apart in age, that makes the potential even brighter.Cowboys building the OL of the future. Guyton, Beebe, Thomas plus Richards, Ball, Bass, Hoffman. All young bucks who look like they can play in this league.
+++CORRECTION+++ Beebe, Guyton, and Smith all just just turned 23.And, when you realize Tyler Smith and Cooper Beebe are only a month apart in age, that makes the potential even brighter.
Easily the greatest post of your career! They look good in the classroom and in shorts
BUT how will they do when the pads come on and the hitting starts?
Rating linemen this early in the offseason really is not valid
They have competition this year with the turnover and should make for a fun camp. I expect we'll see a drop in LT play early on, but like you believe the interior and run blocking has the potential to be better.I believe the OL will be the surprise unit this year. They will over perform expectations.
I believe the front office thinks this also. This is why they have downgraded the RB position. They believe any JAG can get the job done. This is where I disagree with them. With a stud RB Dallas can have a dominant running game, with a JAG, just a running game.
I am looking forward to seeing this unit perform this upcoming year.
Yeah that's probably my biggest hang up right now. Of course we need DT help, but i imagine we can find someone to occupy space. At 3 tech, I'm hoping Osa has a career year seeking that contract. They have competition this year with the turnover and should make for a fun camp. Wish we invested more in the running game this offseason rather than banking on just selecting Brooks. Elliott is likely to occupy the majority of the carries and just tough to get excited about the potential of splash plays from RB.
I agree......thanks for not posting, "que the negative posts"Sounds very encouraging.
Of course, but I'll take Martin's endorsement nonetheless. It's a good start, and that's all we can ask for currently. Let's not pretend we haven't drafted complete morons and lazy players before. At least we can rule that out. They look good in the classroom and in shorts
