This season is the season of appreciating solid starters. We want everyone to be a star but guys like LVE, Tyler B, and Anthony Brown show us that the solid starters make a difference as well.

Forgot what poster said it, we may want better players at certain positions but we also have to appreciate the glue guys who do their job. Everyone can’t be a Pro-Bowler.
I was one of several that have said as much. It's a common trend on this board to find a scapegoat. Pass defense is really good, AB goes down and it falls apart. Run defense is coming together, LVE goes down and it falls apart, etc etc.

It's too easy to watch a game, see a guy giving up a play or two, and label them as a problem. I don't understand the incessant need to point fingers and play the blame game when, truth be told, before these guys went down, their respective units were playing lights out. It's such a strange phenomenon and I can't help but wonder if the same goes on with other fanbases.

Yeah when the defense was top five the first half of the season people were complaining about AB and LVE as if they were somehow holding us back. Hopefully we’ll have less complaints about solid starters moving forward, it’s just a waste of breath.

Take that to all the posters crapping on a thread I posted, when I made the comment that a high ankle sprain for a lineman does not necessarily mean automatic 4-6 weeks out, especially when compared to a skill player like a wide receiver or running back.

nice call…..glad your insight proved correct

Count me as skeptical.
And I'm not trash talking Biadasz, I am really not.
I'm just being honest--the dreaded "high ankle sprain" is not generally a 2 week injury.

He may feel good, I'm not accusing him of lying. I'm just saying--when he's in the trenches against some 300 lb monster pushing and torquing on that ankle for 4 quarters, that's the only time he'll really know if he's "good to go" or not.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm also hedging my bets on this one. If he's truly good and near 100%, that will be one of the fastest recoveries from a high ankle sprain in recent memory.

good luck to him. We certainly need him to be good to go, I hope he is.

I wish that I remembered who that LVE clown was.
If there was anything I would want in an update to this site, it would be a search engine for such purposes and more. I love this site otherwise, and for the most part, think it's a great community of fans... it's weird to me to not have that function on what is such an exceptional internet board.
