Tyler Booker is a Cowboy

For the trade down people. I think ano to wr guard went at 17-18. So idk if we had much wiggle room to move down if we loved this player

WRs and RBs help sell jerseys

Trench players help win championships and consistent winning
You aren't winning a championship without some skill players to make plays on offense. It's called a healthy balance, which you need a good front office to do. Dallas has next to no playmakers on offense outside of Lamb.

I love the player. He'll come in and be an impact player. Booker, Beebe and Smith could develop into one of the most dominant interiors in the NFL.

Im just not a fan of taking an OG here
I didnt expect them to pick a guard, and neither did anyone else lol.
He needs to be a great one to be worth that pick.

I was also shocked they didnt trade down.
Do they try to draft guys with the same names??
They like Tylers evidently, it is getting a little weird lol.

perfect ingredients for early playoff exit. By design. For money

We had the best OLine in the NFL for over decade and it translated to nothing.
You also need a defense that does its job when it matters to, which means a competent D-line. Yeah, Dak's a major problem and a hindrance, but any QB we get as a replacement will need good trenches when it matters. This is a weak QB draft, so why not fix the lines and things of need while Dak's horrible contract keeps us in a stranglehold?

Look, we won a ton of games and fumbled in the playoffs. Back then, it was Romo. These days, it's Dak.

So if the thesis is that the Qb is the reason we're not winning, how did you want the team to fix that today?

I think they will view it that it lowers the need at RB. Now, we can wait until later to get one because of our interior line. I don't agree with that thinking, but I could see it being their reasoning.
I do like tha we didn't pick a RB in the first round. Too much meat left on the bone in the later rounds.
