Sure. For all I know he is ripped under there. At the same time it is very obvious he has put on weight.

I just want to be clear that I do not think that is the case. It looks like he has put on weight but he was so skinny before that any weight would be good. He looks man sized now which is a good thing as it might allow him to play outside. I also have come to learn that keeping on weight through the grind of a season is not an easy thing particularly for young players. This gives him some buffer so to speak.

He may be slightly out of shape at the moment but give him a little time with all the OTAs, minicamps, training camp practices and such, he'll be exactly where he'll need to be. He's certainly not likely to be the only one that will appear a bit hefty right now but the long offseason tends to have that effect on many. He'll be fine -- what's more, he has the ball skills to create some turnovers this year. It should likely serve us well when the time comes.

He was twigs last year. This is almost pudgy. I expect he should lean out nicely as he grinds through the year. Maybe he can play on the outside.
