Broaddus is just saying hot takes to get the conversation going. He hates Steele for some reason. Listen, I old enough to remember when LVE and Jaylon were starting over Micah until the Hall of Fame game.

haha.

I think most of us are old enough (happens to the best of us). But I agree Broaddus may be just getting the conversation going. I'm not saying Tyler Smith wouldn't be a good RT. He definitely would. I think he can play every position on the OL, except center. I just think LG is our biggest need. And I think Smith helps the running game a lot there. Biadazs is actually improving. I saw a lot from him last year where he was actually helping produce on runs. Dude can really pull block. And I expect him to continue improving this year. At least, I'm hoping.

We just couldn't get our run game going in the playoffs. And we were weak in the middle, especially the left middle. So I think that's why Tyler stays on the left side.

If Steele can't hold down the RT spot, I'd feel a lot more comfortable with Waletzko over there, because it's not as difficult as LT. And he has the physical tools to play RT.

If anything, I think that's the rookie player who could challenge Steel at that position.

Broaddus is an idiot lol

He's entertaining, because he was a scout. I take him with a grain of salt. Sometimes he has good insight, sometimes not. He was pretty spot on as far as Mahomes went. He's better at some things, not so great at others.

I think he is salty with the Cowboys still and his takes on Cowboys related things seem to never be logical.

Agreed. Broaddus is a big fan of Armstrong/Sam Williams over Gregory. He also loves Kearse. He believes we will have good defense.

Broadus is learning when to shut up and it has helped him tremendously. Even thou I listen to him he can be wrong and I think that’s the case with Connor starting at LG over T.Smith. JJones said so

It all comes down to his self discipline; avoiding mistakes and penalties. Polishing his technique.
He has the complete package as regards physical tools.

If Broaddus liked a player in the draft, then he only report great things about that player.

If he didn't like a player in the draft or thought the player was drafted to early, then he'll criticize that player incessantly.

He probably dislikes Steele because he predicted in 2020 that Knight would be become a starter and the Steele would be cut.
- Steele ended up as the better player.

If I recall correctly BP tossed Broadus as incompetent.
