The craziest trend blowing my mind right now is the comeback of overalls. Back in 6th–7th grade (early ’90s for me), the move was wearing them with both straps unhooked and hanging, or just one strap undone with the corner flopping down. I’m 100% seeing that look come back everywhere. It’s wild. lol

if that start wearing them backwards and saying jump jump. i’m going to loose it.

He wasnt able to beat out an often injured Tyron who was essentially begging for his replacement.

Listen to Nate Newton if you dont believe me. He is not a good tackle. Thats the reason they are playing him at guard.

And no, they are not wasting him at guard. He is very good at playing guard. He has the same weakness in pass pro he has as a tackle. But he is very good in run blocking.

He may be the best tackle on this team. This is not something you can be proud on. We have bad tackles only. Being the best of the worst doesnt mean you are good.

That aside, my comment was really speaking to the American Eagle looking plaid shirts and torn jeans look.

They could get away with the American eagle in that era, and those are partial skinny jeans (skinny around the legs). Those would have been a no go in that era. In that era, baggy was baggy from head to toe.

He played the entire rookie year at tackle because as usual Tyron Smith was out for the year. He wasn't selected as the pfwa all rookie team as a linemen protecting the blind side for Dak for nothing....Easier to fnd a guard on a team full of guards that a left tackle, Tyler has all the aspects you want as a tackle, and is the best tackle on this team, Steele isn't a left tackle and Guyton proved over and over he's not a left tackle but as usual this organization tries to place square pegs in round holes....Tyler Smith should be the left tackle, end of story!!

Trust me, as someone born in the 80s and raised in the 90s, and with those tight *** jeans on they are wearing in that picture.....that is not the late 90s or early 2000s at all, and I graduated high school in 03. These guys would be laughed out of the building.

I suppose the degree of his talent can be debated that's the case with all players. He does seem awkward but has been developing conscious effort and focus to execute movement correctly or so reported.This is his 3rd. Year we'll see

I must remind you fans that Olinemen generally take awhile to become starters. It was a mistake to tout Guyton as an immediate starter. He was no high first round pick like Tyron Smith, Zach Martin or Tyler booker. T FRED was a fluke. These four are all exceptions to the rule that OLmen need time to develop, especially tackles.

You all remember Doug Free? He started for the Cowboys for many years as a solid, good tackle, first at LT, then switched to RT for the remainder his career.

Doug Free did not start and produce until his 4th year in the NFL!!
Tyron Smith was slowly introduced to RT as a rookie, with Free at LT, then they switched positions That T Smith was the best tackle coming out of college and the Boys passed over the ability to draft JJ Watt, whom they also knew would be a superstar, but OL tackle was their most pressing need.

I give Guyton the chance that in his 3rd year, he has gotten stronger, improved his techniques and will disprove all his doubters.

The same coaching staff that continued to play Wilson at free safety in space or Guyton at left tackle when he's a right tackle??? Many of the decisions from this coaching staff over the years have been head scratchers.
