If Romo keeps declining through the year would you think about drafting this guy?

I'm liking Wilson more and more every week and I think he is working himself into round 1.

I don't think he is coming out this year.
If Luck, Barkley, and Jones all come out it would be stupid for Wilson to come out this year.
I do like him though I just don't think he will enter the draft this year.

In terms of being a high draft pick I would agree that it would not be a good move. I will say he would have the best chance of going to a decent team not a bottom dweller who just got the 1st or 2nd draft choice. Arron Rodgers for instance may not have gone high but at least he ended up with a very good franchise. His career may have looked much different going to some door matt team

I agree and Tyler Wilson would go late first or early 2nd, he only has one year starting so that also hurts his stock.

I've been thinking about making this very thread. I'm something of an Arkansas fan, but I don't see them play much unless they have a big national game, and I didn't realize this guy was so highly regarded. I've heard two or three different analysts say the last week or two that he might be the second QB off the board.

I guess he just has a great arm and is that accurate? I'd almost be a little concerned that Petrino is such a good offensive coach that he's making the QB look better than he is... Remember when Louisville guys like Brohm were thought to be good NFL prospects at one time and they stunk. But I can only guess Wilson is a lot better prospect.

I have liked the kid

tough as nails

but I think he stays another year

my guy for next year is that

James Vandenberg Iowa

Wow I wasn't expecting such positive responses.

Wilson looks like a baller. I hope Romo puts all this to rest but Wilson is starting to look like a really good prospect to me.

He's got quick feet and a quick release.

He needs work but the guy can sling it. He reminds me of Romo a little too.

Not sure the Cowboys will look to use a high pick on a QB in the draft but I will say I hope over the next 2 year we do draft a QB to work behind Romo so what we are not in the same situation we were when Troy retired.

He looked terrible against Vandy. Through 4 passes in the first half against Vandy that should have been picked, and 3 should have been pick 6's.

Just depends, Garrett really liked Dalton last year, now looking at it wouldn't have been a bad pick to sit and develop DAlton

Wilson just pulled a Romo.

Falling down tries to make a play and it gets picked.

His main problem and the thing that probably won't make him a real high pick is he really doesn't have alot of arm strength. Also he has a tendency to hold the ball too long staring at WRs, which is why he takes so many hits.

That said, he won't be coming out this year anyway. Next year, his stock could go up alot though, probably late 1st to 2nd round pick at that time. This year, or next, we do have to pick a QB for the future of this franchise, and Tyler might be that guy.

Yeah i've seen him make some hard throws but I still need to see more.

If they play LSU that game would be epic to see where he is at.
