Tyron Smith back spasms

Oh boy......he's probably ok for now but could this be the seed for issues in other games going forward? Certainly, something to keep an eye on....

Tyron Smith - T - Cowboys
Cowboys LT Tyron Smith missed practice Wednesday with back spasms.

Coach Jason Garrett said he is hopeful Smith can practice Thursday. Back spasms are not a long-term concern, but the Cowboys will likely be cautious considering Smith's injury history. Atlanta's pass rush is anything but fearsome, but they did sack Dak Prescott eight times last season with Smith out of the lineup.

I had that problem a week before I married my wife. I've heard it can be caused by stress.
The condition lasted for a grand total of eleven years (the stress, not the spasms.) :muttley:

Tyron was back at practice today, so everybody can exhale.

Regardless, he's going to be dealing with stuff like this the rest of his career. Back problems can only be controlled, not cured.

Oh crap we're getting ready for the excuses, looks like it's already marked down as loss. Any bookies on this site, I need to place a bet.

Deja Vu

Every year his lower back (discs) gives him problems and affects his play and performance, yet every year he refuses to have surgery to fix his lower back.
Because back surgeries are not guaranteed to work. Most people over the age of 30 have disc issues that you can see on an mri and many have no pain.
