Tyron Smith Can Be Useful

I never said that their respective teams could win a ring, although I give the Seahawks an outside chance. I said that they would take less money from a real contender if they had the opportunity.

Amy time the question comes up, a retired player's greatest regret is not winning a Super bowl if they had never done so. I never heard one say that their greatest regret was not making more money.

Some players are broke . More $ or the ring which would help them now. Someone might have offered Jourdan Lewis less but he took the 10 million from Jax . Non contender .

DLaw multiple foot injuries and yet Seattle offered 14 million per yr . He would be crazy to take less . Tom Cruise that NFL agent said it all . “ show me the money “ !!!!

Everyone can be useful.......that brother in the movie "Freaks" 1932 ,with no arms and no legs, could roll his own smokes and light it to.

Baller

Honestly, folks, when it comes to the offensive line, we are lacking coaching a lot more than talent.

5 sacks allowed all season in nearly 600 snaps. 6 penalties. 73.7 overall PFF grade.

However, another injury cut his time short.

I'd be in for a cheap swing tackle.
I think they should draft a T, move Guyton to RT and make Richards the swing guy. That is what I would do.

D-Law has made 127 million dollars to date. If the Chiefs, Lions, or Eagles had offered 12 million dollars per year then IU think he would have chosen one of those teams.

However, I wouldn't discount the possibility of him believing that the Seahawks have a legitimate shot. They were 10-7 last season and are trending upwards with only one losing season in the past 13 years. In free agency they have picked up Cooper Kupp and Sam Darnold.

I would understand if Lewis took the money because he hasn't really had a big payday during his career. Besides, how many offers did he receive from legitimate contenders?

In any case, I admit this is pure speculation based on what others players have expressed in a similar situation. Everyone is different but I believe a player has to love the game and love winning to make it as far as the NFL. I really can't say that is true for every player so perhaps you are right.

Not only that but his Seattle contract is only 18 million guaranteed so it's essentially a 2-year deal for 18 million total. The 3rd year is money he'll never see.

Let it go, as he probably has. The NYJ performance and the past few years is no longer the one we knew.

Tyron should retire.
He has nothing left to prove.

HOF career, probably 1st ballot.
As good a LT as I've seen.
