At 6 ft 3 in height and weighing 325 pounds, Allen is regarded as one of the physically strongest men to have ever played in the NFL, having recorded an official bench press of 705 lb (320 kg) and a squat of 905 lb
That is insanity. Respect.

Zoners - tune in or stream the weight lift competition at the Tokyo Olympics - see men and women hefting enormous weights repeatedly during a competing session - amazing.

One of the most entertaining videos involving Allen is the 2006 NFL Strongest Man Competition.

All of the strongest players around the league compete to see who can lift 225LBS the most times. Larry goes first and immediately pumps out 43 repetitions.

Game over, turn out the lights. He took the wind out of every other guy standing there. It was an act of pure intimidation.

Larry walks over to his chair and sits down like a king on a throne. He spends the rest of the competition watching every other player fail to even come close. A couple were able to make it over 30. Joey Porter, Shaun Rogers, Lorenzo Neal.......they didn't even make full lifts like Larry.

lifting excessive weights, does not build strength, it just is hard on the body and can cause back and leg or arm problems.
It is better to do lower weights and lots of reps.
I think a lot of back problems, are caused by lifting excessive weights.

The impressive thing here is he isn't built like Larry Allen.
Larry was built like a powerlifter.
Tyron is built like a swimsuit model. Dude is wide shouldered with long arms and a small waist.
Generally the kind of guys that look great but lack functional strength.
Tyron is legit a freak of nature(and hard work).

between 600-700 lbs according to Travis Frederick.

That's just awesome. I had no idea he was so strong.
I wonder how much he can deadlift and squat? Those are the two lifts that get right down to over all body strength.
