Last week was a bad performance. Not just the penalties. He whiffed on some blocks and looked to be going through the motions a bit

He is an all pro— and I have to believe that last week was due to rust and getting back into game shape.

We need him to dominate on Sun night. Dak absolutely falls apart when he starts getting hit— so with better protection— I think we see a better offensive output.

There's no telling what can happen if you give Deonte Thompson and Blake Jarwin an extra second or two.

My bet is they would be 60 yards down field by then.....and we both know Dak couldn't reach them and Connor couldn't hold up for that long.

The JG offense in a nutshell. ;)

I wouldn't call it 'bad' per se ...

There are some pretty nasty adjectives out there ....

Wonder if Callahan is still ticked that JG/JJ wouldn't promote him. Doesn't look like Washington has any plans for him becoming OC. They did give him an honorary Assistant Head Coach title, but I think the Cowboys offered something similar.

Had two penalties week 1 last year. These guys don't play enough. Having said that thought the block int he back was weak.

It was, but the alternative was a 5-10 yard loss so the penalty may have actually been the better play. I think I would rather have 1st and 20 than 2nd and 15 or more.

Tyron just didn't block anybody in the 1st half . He looked less than average but to his credit picked it up in the second half . These guys should have played together in preseason rather than use the 1st game like preseason should have been used .

Really not rocket science the D got more reps together and looked far more prepared . Offense didn't play together at game speed and looked like it .
