lol, he's already proven not to be a bust.

Neither of those players were busts. Roy (the safety) Williams' abilities just declined quicker than expected and Newman was good for several years before injuries led to his decline.

Some fans are fickle, not all of them. He already isn't a bust. Even if he was, that doesn't mean you have to burn him at the stake.
