I think its great as long as he doesn't get seriously injured.

He won't get injured.

Good for him for going and doing that.

Im sure all the vet Tackles are going to be pretty territorial around him but they might as well realise that Tyron is the 2011 starter.

I hope he has a very good insurance policy.

Good for him though, I love the committment!

I'm going to guess Tony is really taking care of this kid.

I wonder whose helmet and pads he's going to carry in training camp (assuming there is one).

I didn't care for the pick at all, but if he's willing to put in the work without even having a contract, he may prove me wrong sooner rather than later. Kid's got stones.

I doubt it. We don't have that kind of guys. Colombo has already said he's going to help out Tyron to be the best player he can be, even though he intends to fight for his job. He knows that the better Tyron is, the better the team is.

Free was in Tyron's position not too long ago, so I'm pretty sure he'd be the same.

The only one might be Barron. But then again, he doesn't care about anything anyway.

I love how the Saints camp getting covered like it's a holy event but the Cowboy camp isn't even spoken of on ESPN.

Well, as our number 1 pick, it is nice for him to be there. Don't know if I would wanna play if I was him, after all, he is the poor one there cause he ain't got paid yet. Hopefully he has a good health insurance policy, but really its like playing a pickup basketball game (wonder who).......all of them do it and there is risk involved in that.

Good luck young padawan.

Pleasantly surprised that Smith showed up. 20 years old and showing himself as a responsible member of this team

What you talkin about. They talk about how Dez finally showed up.

On TV? I'm not talking about the blurb about it on ESPNdallas.

That's because there was media at the Saints workouts and the details of the arrangements were revealed. And additionally, players have talked openly about them.

Just reading the blurbs on the workouts, the media isn't present, and Tony isn't giving them much to work with and neither has anyone else.

Witten always said that Romo was setting things up, so it sounds like he might have done just as many things as Brees, but he's not revealing them. Just my two nickels.

There has to be some media there. We have quotes from Tony after the first two practices and they knew Dez wasn't there for the first one.
