Left tackle Tyron Smith will not play today against Washington because of a back issue that kept him out of practice all week, according to sources. Smith did not go through his normal early pregame warmup as he received more treatment on his back to see if it would loose up. Cameron Fleming will start for Smith.

When Smith is out this team crumbles. Though not sure how much more crumbling they can do lmao

It's time to move on from Smith.

What does everyone think about moving Lael Collins to left tackle and Connor Williams to right? Connor obviously can't play a guard so let's try him at RT.

If the players saw this as a big game today, the season on the line type of game, they would all try to play. Its every man on deck. Instead, the Cowboys injury report got longer this week, in practice. This says it all.

I was watching the Ohio State-Clemson game last night. Players were getting banged up and left the game, but after getting some sideline treatment they returned to the game and gave it their best. Its what you do when their is no tomorrow, at least if you are thinking about your team.

Nothing wrong with Smith. He can't throw people around like he used to but he is still a top 5 OT in this league. Like every other position, the team needs a decent backup.

He killed way too many drives this season. Part of it is him in decline and part of it is ******* penalties.

On the plus side...
1)The refs usually nail him 2-4 times per game
2)Could it hasten Garrett’s departure?

Tyron is the LT until he isn’t and La’el Collins should be his back up. Connor Williams and Fleming should be the next RT’s in line.

Looney should be our LG and back up center until McGovern can get healthy and win the position or at least become the swing guard....

He's been battling this for a long time.

The OL, while still very good, is no longer the dominant force it once was.

One star out and this team doesn't know how to cope and crumbles........get ready
