Had a terrible game but in the 4th qtr he was money. Don't have to worry about the LT position at all. 3 holds and a huge whiff on that screen play but he was perfect in the 4th

Lol I see what you are doing. I'm sure someone will fall for it. Hopefully they're still smart enough to show you how dumb this is and is Apple's to oranges. Lol

With his injuries, I wouldn't be surprised if this year or next year is his last in Dallas. We have a lot of guys that need paid and Tyron is on the decline due to the injuries.

This or next year or the next year I r maybe the next year bold statement

Smith is awesome. You guys are mistaking him not being almost perfect with him being a bad LT. He has declined, but he is still a really good LT, and I bet he plays out his contract.

Randy Gregory has not played football in 2 years, and has been doing more to those LT's than what Smith lets by. Should those teams get rid of their LT?

His contract is just such a ridiculous bargain though.

Yep.

Nate Solder just got paid $15 million a season to suck it up with the Giants. We're paying about $12 million* for Tyron, and even hurt and declining, he is easily the better player.

*We actually owe him $17 million this year, but that's because we restructured his contract to kind of kick the can down the road. The last three years, his cap hit has been $5 mil, $6.8 mil, and $8.8 mil. Steal.

He gets called for holding when he dominates a guy to the ground. I guess he should just keep shaking the life out of them but hold them upright.
Two of those holds were DLaws life on every single play. Holding is a strange cat, it's completely at the whim of the ref.

he's been INJURED. sorry for screaming. he was barely able to use his right arm due to a knee brace. just like Arnold, he'll be back.
As others have said, Tyron is the oldest 27 year old I've ever seen. Man is a beast though.

I'm actually kind of encouraged with his health this year. The back seems better. Not entirely ok, but better.

He has declined from health. But it's possible he gets better too. He has upside from where he is now. We shouldn't be in a big hurry to throw that upside away.

It’s only apples to oranges if you are not giving one guy credit for the win or not saying he can’t be criticized for his mistakes.

It has a lot of similarities. A hold can end a drive in and of itself just like an interception or fumble can.

An offensive lineman can destroy a whole game like we saw versus Atlanta last year. You discount the whole team by saying it’s ok that Dak was bad for 3 Tara since he played lights out in the 4th and OT
