The 49ers have injury problems and would be forced to keep playing their starters if they lose and would have a lot of pressure against the Rams.
Fair point.

I'd prefer to have him out there for this game against another playoff team to reestablish momentum. Plus, if we win and the Eagles loss either of these last two games, we can still get the division crown. Can't bubble-wrap until that's decided.
I don’t understand the give up mentality. Is it likely the Eagles lose either game? No, but it’s certainly possible. And I’m not saying next to impossible possible. The ESPN data geeks give it just about a 1 in 5 chance.

Besides, let’s say they don’t play Smith the last 2 games. That guarantee he doesn’t get hurt the first play or series of the playoff game. Look no further than Rodgers.

I agree that it means nothing. It isn't like the times that he's been injured this year necessarily occurred in games. His injuries usually flared up in practice. That's the problem with a bad back.

Things are trending in a positive direction with LT Tyron Smith (back) after he missed last week’s game at Miami.

Sounds like Dallas will have its best-5 offensive line starting tomorrow night.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: “I feel good about it. They’re feeling good about it across the board, trainers, coaches, Tyron. They’re all feeling good about it.”

Im glad for Tyron, but it's pretty damn bad when your game plan goes out the window when 1 player gets hurt... Borrow goes to the sb with the worst line in football, yet this team can't function with one player out..so it's either the coaching is terrible or the QB cannot overcome adversity... either way, it doesn't make sense.

The game plan doesn't change based on Tyron playing or not. The Cowboys believe in their backups enough they run their regular offense. Edoga has played well most of the year. He had one bad game and everyone acts like he doesn't know how to tie his shoelaces any more.

They actually functioned pretty well. They almost beat Miami.

Are we really only missing one starter? Could've sworn we were missing a starting CB, LB, DT.

Shrug, oh well.

Get over it! Everyone knows who he is talking about.

Why do you care? Tyron probably doesn’t care as much as you. LOL
It happens a lot. If you're using a web browser that has spell check it will usually auto correct it to Tyrone even if you type Tyron . Anytime I use the function to talk to text (type) it will usually spell out Tyrone when I verbally say Tyron

These are the same Lions that have lost twice to da Bears, right? What if......
Also the same Lions that, in their best season in decades, decided to keep Thanksgiving tradition alive by losing to the Packers who are also below .500.

He got an injection.
I can't imagine Toradol helping that much. It kind of blows my mind how many players get it on game day and play. Unless...of course, they got something better.
