Tyron update, playing?

A lot of tackles can play well into their mid thirties. Smith is just breaking down for some reason. It's been happening for the last three seasons.

In all fairness to Tyron, he also has more mileage on his body than a typical 30 (I think?) year old. I believe he came into the league at age 20.

Yes he does, but only 2 or 3 years more than a typical lineman his age.

I believe MM has been playing it safe, with respect to limiting Tyron in practice!

If he's allowed to play, let's just hope we'll be seeing Tyron Smith at his best!

He should have had more than sufficient time to fully recover from his woes.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this staff knew all along that Tyron will be playing.

I think he'll have that bone spur removed in the offseason and return ready for the 2022 season. Should be a good story for another day.

Still hard to believe that it's been 10 years (11th season) already with Tyron. Crazy how fast time passes. The Cowboys should definitely be thinking about his replacement...if they value Prescott's performance and health. Sobering to think that the o-line since 2011 has really only seen two years when it was really top shelf (2014 and 2016). Five years on, it seems that Smith is succumbing to what usually happens to tackles as they get higher mileage.

When I think about it I always wonder what would've happened with Romo at the helm for the 2016 playoffs. No rookie QB has ever even "reached" the Superbowl, let alone won it. Prescott was no exception.

Romo doesn’t win that game any more than Dak loses it. Our defense wasn’t that good and the refs weren’t on our side either. We had the lead until the very end. Dak played really good that game.
