Charlton showed some freaky talents on that near interception. But yet again this weekend, he seemed to be on the ground a lot. He got tossed like a rag doll on that one play.

He's clearly a project at this point but at least he's not a Hayden with no talent. He's clearly got some skills. Hope they can pull something out of him.

This is sort of what I expected. I figured we would be able to feast on the poor teams defensively. Young teams do that. I think we'll get better and better as the season goes. I think we'll definitely give up big plays against the better teams on our schedule. Atlanta, KC, and Philly will be tough for us.

I think, if we can grow quickly, we can come away stringing a few wins together.

I haven't totally written him off, but he is a lot farther behind than I thought he was and less effective than when I envisioned.

I didn't expect him to get 12 sacks his first year but I did expect him to be Almost Anthony Spencer-like in being a step or two late but be around the QB some.

The only time he seems to be near the QB is when he is unblocked and he seems to be getting worse. Probably due to thinking too much and lack of confidence/success.

None of the three teams you mentioned are guaranteed losses like many would have predicted two weeks ago.

Irving, now has 5 sacks in three games
Crawford, now has 3 sacks in three games
Lawrence, now has 3 sacks in three games, and 10.5 for the season

Who thinks this defense could actually be decent if they were unleashed and allowed to play closer and more aggressive? I guess we don’t get beat deep very often, so there is that compared to rob Ryan’s defense.

Weren't the Commanders playing 4 linemen off the street. Let's not get ahead of yourselves on Crawford
True, though TC has shown when healthy to be a solid DL. Not sure he earns his salary though, that's true.
