On the other hand, both Crouch and Tebow won Heisman's and were on National Championship Teams.

Are you implying that Texas' new plan for success is to dump Harsin and Applewhite's pro-style attack in favor of the triple or spread option? If so, good luck. If not I'm not what your point is. Eric Crouch would have been a nobody in any offense that required him to throw the ball more than 10 times a game.

No, I'm implying that to use Crouch and Tebow as an example of what you don't want in a QB is an opinion that nobody in their right mind should have.
