I could play devil's advocate here.. If Marion Barber's injury is a little more serious than thought.. maybe putting him on IR would create some oppurtunities and let us keep our 4th round pick.. Hmm anyone?

Thompson just was the man on this last drive.. Caught the ball for 14 yards, had a couple long rushes over 10 yards then punched it into the endzone. Check out these RB stats..

Of course he will make the team, even if just on the practice team, you don't just cut a 4th rd pick. The odd man out is Bickerstaff, Parcells will keep 4 RBs because it looks like he is going with just 1 FB.
