Did my eyes deceive me or was Thompson in the game split out as a receiver on a play? Just like Newman was on a play. Put the fastest guys to the outside and see who the defense sends out to cover them. On the Thompson play, if it was him, Keyshawn converted the 3rd down and it looke as if Thompson got past the DB before Drew threw it. I am not sure because CBS does a very poor job on replays. They would rather let Phil Simms ramble on and promote their television line up than show replays.

Problem is he'd find the only defender between him and the goal line and run in to him
