Since I'm the owner there is no need to fire "GM" Jerry. I would have already changed the locks.

I would hire a Football GM and get the hell out of his way. Then I would avoid all cameras. I would congratulate players in the locker room after victories and console them after losses. Every once in a while I would call my GM and ask him how he is doing and ask if there is anything he would like the Owner's help with. I'd market the heck out of the team (like Jerry does) but without having to have my name associated with everything (unlike Jerry does). I have an ego too but the only time you'd ever see me is when they hand me the Lombardi trophy.

One thing I would insist on as owner is I get a say on the cheerleader selections.

By the way, I could actually see Jery selling the team and demanding he gets to stay on as the GM.

I'd hire Bill Cowher as head coach and give him whatever powers he needed to restore toughness, agressiveness, and accountibility to the team.

I would bring in Shannahan to be the coach and let him pick his staff. I would keep the scouting department etc. intact as they have done a good job the last few years.

If he still wanted the year off, I would release Henry, Roy38, Flozell and bring in the best LT and SS I could find in FA.
