He's not that athletic or fast.
But he can play ILB for somebody, IMO.

Pros: Gordon, a junior, is an athletic playmaker with the all-around skills to contribute in a number of ways. He has exceptional ball skills and instincts that compensate for marginal size and adequate speed. He is a very tough, high-motor player. He can jump through the roof and knows how to attack the ball. He plays with a gambling style, relying on excellent instincts and quick reactions. He began his career as a receiver and moved mainly to the corner over his final two seasons, showing intelligence and awareness. He has similar size, athletic ability, quickness and cover skills to Nathan Vasher. He has natural hands and the ability to intercept the ball. He can play receiver on occasion and come up with big plays. As a tackler, he is very dependable and he is not afraid to get involved in run support.
Cons: He does not have great top-end speed to close. He has been beaten by play-fakes and overreacts to the initial move by a receiver.
Numbers: At the Combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds with a 35.5 vertical jump and 97 broad jump. At the Kansas pro day, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 and 4.62 seconds. He was timed at 4.19 in the short shuttle and 6.84 in the 3-cone drill. He had 19 reps of the 225-pound bench press.
Skinny: He is a falling prospect after a subpar 40-time. He carries an starting grade on the corner with further upside as a playmaker. He can fill a few roles early, especially as the nickel corner and punt returner. He is a top-100 prospect with the ability to contribute early.
Sounds like someone who needs to have the play be in front of him. May make a good project as a FS. lack of height and 40 time a concern, however.
