We really should scoop up Hunt, although I remember reading whispers out of Cleveland that he had lost a step.
Im guessing they're waiting for more options to shake free. The Eagles got Swift for pennies.

Really not much need. We likely bring in 1-2 camp guys but there isn’t any room

> Tony Pollard
> Ronald Jones
> Malik Davis
> Rico Dowdle
> Deuce Vaughn
> Hunter Luepke

That is 6 bodies there and probably 5 make it with Dowdle being the odd man out.

Not happy with the RB group at all.

Maybe a trade for Henry?
Offer them a 4th round pick.

I don't think Hunt is the answer.

Zeke could be back after OTA's. But if so, they need to use the as a group wisely. Use Zeke more sparingly. Unless he shows improvement and healthy.
However, I really doubt Zeke returns. But they need address the situation.

Watch Luepke’s highlights. I don’t think he’s a traditional lead blocking FB. He’s your short yardage/bruiser.
He can side step a tackler in the A-gap better than most
Ndsu signiture play in the 18 rings stretch.

He can side step in the gap....but then still outrun the secondary .

He needs to learn he cant run over everyone at this level... some Frsnco Harris, some Emmitt

Lots of veteran names out there, I’m just not sure how many are still very good. We all know the zeke situation. I didn’t watch much but many browns fans feel very similar about Kareem hunt.

The name that I’m surprised doesn’t get brought up more often is Leonard fournette. I’ve always thought of him as a similar player to zeke but a better receiver. Not a great feature back at this point but I could see him doing well in a limited role.

My guess is these veteran backs are going to wait it out and hope for better opportunities as we see injuries pop up in camp/preseason.

It’s missing something to me.
If this FO doesn’t have a backup plan we’re in trouble. Pollard is coming back from injury. Has any one thought about if he gets hurt again?

Look at the RB room and remove pollard lol. It looks even worse

It's missing proof. Outside of Pollard, we don't know what we've got, and even Pollard is a bit of a question mark coming off injury.
Malik Davis showed a lot of promise but our stupid OC wouldn’t play him….

Im actually not concerned about Pollards injury. But having Pollard as the only viable back is ridiculous. These guys are just complete morons. ONLY Zeke now only Pollard?

Henry is more wishful thinking IMO. But that would be great. Have Henry beat down the doors, then change the pace with Pollard and little Ratatoskr.

I like his promise. I just don't know if it means he can succeed in a No. 2 role. I do like that we have him and that we drafted a back and picked up a vet. Gives us a better shot that we'll be able to find someone to pair with Pollard out of that group.

This is the one thing that puzzled me about the draft. The run game is half our offense. We got fat Mike saying we want to run the ball, and we ignored it in the first 4 rounds. And by run game I mean both OL and RB.

Even if they loved the LB, rounds 2 and 4 would have been the perfect time to address the run game. I don't know what they're thinking.
