Yes.... It's like they are daring anyone to state that reaching for a need at RB. They are as far away from that concept as they could possibly be. It seems as though they could invest something in the UDFA market to encourage a signing at RB.... Something? At this point, though... there's nothing that they could do. Any UDFA RB would be scoffed at right now.

It appears when Jerry and Stephen devalue a position, they go all-in with that. They've been talking down the position since the season ended and it's showing in their action. They take some of the worst overreactionary stances.

The majority of those backs will either be cut or on practice squads. Either way, if you’re upset because you think they would make the Cowboys starting roster, they will be available at some point prior to the season.

And yet, they used eight of their 30 visits on RBs. Which implies that they did, in fact, view it as a position they needed to prioritize.

Then, of course - they don't pick up a single RB in the draft or UDFA.

There is no process, no plan, no blueprint. Nothing these guys do makes a lick of sense.

Just crazy!
I can't believe they have not signed any, even if it's just to be a camp body.

True. I just think they enjoy "proving" what they say. Running backs are so unimportant valuewise that even though we brought eight in, it wasn't a big deal to try to make a move to grab one. We will likely bring Elliott back because even though he's in decline, running backs are so unimportant that that doesn't matter.

They get caught up in their stances even if evidence doesn't support them.

What’s annoying is they used a top 5 pick on zeke. The pick immediately after at #6? Troy Polamalu. Oof

Yes, that was them overreacting the other way after they basically did this same thing in 2015 (if we sign Zeke): Bring in an old vet to team with a bunch of nobodies after letting your starter leave in free agency and complete ignoring the position in the draft.

The one thing you can say here is that if we have improved our run blocking with this draft a lot guys can run through big holes.
