UDFA to watch

Smell the roses?
Might want to take your own advice!
No one wants someone so dumb, they got themselves in this position, on their team!
Many players (present and past) have been targeted with similar accusations. Michael Irvin, T.O., Zeke, etc. Many big time playing Cowboys have, yet I don't remember hearing you call them out and judge them. Hypocrite.

nice analysis based on reality of what we can expect from these players
Holden - WR5 or WR6 if Cowboys do not add another WR. CeeDee, Tolbert, Mingo, Turp....Flournoy/Brooks/Holden. I think Holden has the talent to compete for a backend spot year 1.

Rivaldo - can take the role the team wanted for John Stephens (receivingTE). I can see Fairchild being a camp darling and forcing Schotty to keep 4 TEs because he adds a mismatch dimension, but right now I'd say PS.

Williamson and Barron practice sqaud.

Many didn’t make the statement “alcohol makes me do things”, “try to pressure the victim into signing non disclosure agreement” and “try to bribe the victim” both of which he initiated…there’s a higher standard now since the Ray Rice incident!

And let's not forget that in most cases, the player is way bigger and stronger than whomever their partner happens to be, and said player (unless they're a kicker...) are used to the violence associated with football. Smarter players have their entourage screen in advance and sign papers before, not after. Remember when Kobe snitched on Shaq during his police interviews for a similar incident?

Pure hearsay at this point. This is what she is accusing him of. There is no proof whatsoever of Bond saying "alcohol makes me do things". Ironic how you refuse to admit her own demand of $5k instead of $1k. Tells me all I need to know about you.

Well in the article I read police were on the text line when he acknowledged that he continued to sexually hurt her even after she said no and offered her $5 K to go away and sign an NDA....
Bond didn't acknowledge via text that he continued to sexually hurt her. That was her statement.

So if you tell someone you'll sell them your house, then change your mind, they can just take it?
But did she “change her mind” before or during the bone, or after? Did she actually tell him stop, or is this something she’s coming up with way later? Lots of examples of it going down like that. Of course if she told him to stop just before or during, that changes things, problem is it ends up being he said she said. With SA a lot of times they treat the guy as guilty until proven innocent…..many guys have gone to jail on a lie because they believe the girl and not the guy only to find out later she lied.

"Many guys"? Provide data... If this happens, it happens very rarely, since DAs often will not prosecute unless they have an airtight case. In reality, the vast majority of cases are a) legit and b) ultimately not prosecuted because victims are afraid of retribution and embarrassment, not believed, want to just move on, or, in some occasions, paid off (Kobe).

I agree. That's why I reserve judgement until after the trial, assuming there is one. I don't even usually consider a settlement to be an admission of guilt.

Lol,
Ok then!
He can tell his teammates in the UFL that assuming they’ll even have him!

His side of the story was “alcohol makes me do things”!!!!
Actually that is her saying that is what he said. She's looking to get her bag. His side of the story is gonna be that we talked about it, she said she was interested in it and halfway through she changed her mind and I stopped.

She is going to have the burden of proof that he raped her and sodomized her after she said no. There are apparently texts where they talked about doing it. If in the middle she changed her mind, not sure that is going to meet the rape standard....assuming he even acknowledges she said no. Did she go for medical treatment immediately? Did she report it to anyone then? The call while the police were there was two weeks later.

So I honestly doubt she can prove he raped or assaulted her. Fine line when there is consent and then possibly changing your mind. Problem for him is the only way he gets completely off is going to trial and being acquitted. And even then, he still is going to carry that stigma.

“That puts Bond on the short end of the stick here, because that's not the character a "table-pounding-for-culture" coach such as Brian Schottenheimer wants in his locker room.

In this case, we imagine he would be pounding the table in demanding "no."
What do no mean?

She doesn’t have to prove it. The DA does.

This isn’t a civil case, yet. The police receive a complaint and investigate. They then submit a recommendation to the DA who then decide to prosecute.

There are a lot of steps, completely out of the control of the complainant, that happen before charges are filed.

In this case, criminal charges have been filed and DAs tend to prosecute cases they think they can win.
