Given the nature of the free agent signings and the lockout, I'd say that if Austin and Romo were free agents this year, they wouldn't be here now. These are camp bodies. There may be a surprise, but I don't think any of them will have time or opportunity to impress enough to stick on the roster. Sucks for them, but the cards are not only stacked against them, it's almost pre-ordained that they are gone before the season starts.

The coaches will still know the keepers, they'll probably put most of them on the practice squad. Which leads to a question, did they expand the practice squad as rumors suggested or did they stay the same?

My only gripe is no Deunta Williams. Otherwise I like bringing in more CBs and WRs. The OL selections are cool too.
